Application of One to One Care System for a Person with Bipolar Disorder

Abstract
Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of one to one care system for a client with bipolar disorder. self-management, the performance of using a one to one management system from May 28th to June 15th in 2012.

Methods : Client was immersed in computer games and cigarette. And he was also obsessed with eating and weight gain. Client feels difficulty such as self-management and organizing time and objects around. After interviewing with the COPM, COTE, and a checklist, he was observed to be one to one management system.

Results : In the COPM Performance changed from 2.6 to 5 and satisfaction changed from 2.6 to 7. Total score raised 4.4 points. The COTE total score changed from 16 points to 22 points.

Conclusions : The result indicates that one to one care system could be incorporated into occupational therapy program for effective intervention outcomes.
